I'm Joy, founder of Joy Hindmoor Jewellery. I'm a self-taught jeweller based in Hackney, London. My independent jewellery business started as a 2020 lockdown hobby, where I spent most of my time watching countless online tutorials, eventually teaching myself the basics to create wearable rings. Today, my design process is very experimental, a real 'just go with the flow' experience from start to finish. This is probably what has inspired the names given to my designs - Flux, Flow etc. I focus on the freedom of shape, pattern, colour and the cohesiveness between these artistic elements. Each design uses hand picked precious stones and metals that are ethically sourced by specialist stone and metal suppliers from in and around London.
